I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad. My family and I moved to Canada in the year of 2006. I discovered my passion for writing in high school , my grade 10 English class to be exact. Growing up in a Caribbean household, being vocal is a retired weakness of mine. Through writing, I found my voice, my mind and my words.

Nisway has been an on-going thought for many years. I first came up with the idea during the pandemic, but I was beyond scared of my putting myself out there. Over the past couple of years, being brave has been a consistent quality of mine. Along with being brave, I've also spent a lot of time healing and learning about myself. Nisway is my way of sharing everything I've learnt with the world. My intentions are to create an online space where visitors can feel seen and heard, while also writing about topics I enjoy - skincare, mental health , dating , etc.
